MKM Fruit Merge
Puzzle 2 playsFruit Merge hangs the whole game off the lid of a glass tank: a coral cannon on the floor, a pile of fruit drifting up against the glass, and one rule that never changes. Two of a kind that touch become one of the next kind. Cherry becomes strawberry, strawberry becomes grapes, and the ladder keeps climbing until a watermelon is floating at the top of the water.
About the game
MKM Fruit Merge plays inside a tall glass tank. You never move the pile — you only choose where the next fruit goes, and the pile does the rest. That single decision, repeated a hundred times a round, is what makes it feel different: the board is never against you, it is only waiting to be organised.
The name of the game is the mechanic. Two fruit of the same kind touch, and they become one fruit of the next kind up the ladder. Cherry to strawberry, strawberry to grapes, all the way to the watermelon. Nothing is removed from the board, so every shot makes the tank slightly tighter than the one before it.
A second rule decides how long you last. The dotted line near the sand is the limit, and the moment the lowest fruit hangs past it the round ends. That means a short dense pile survives far longer than a tall thin one — a lesson most players learn the hard way around their fifth round.
The cannon climbs with you. Eleven fruit sit in the ladder, the strip along the bottom fills in as you create each one, and the higher you go the more a single shot is worth. Two merges inside a second count as a chain and pay more than the same two merges apart, so the fastest rounds are not the ones with the biggest fruit, but the ones with the shortest pauses.
How to Play
- Aim. The cannon stands on the sand and fires straight up. Drag anywhere on the glass to tilt the barrel, and let go to fire.
- Watch the guide. A dotted line shows where the shot is travelling, and a ring on the pile marks the first fruit it will touch.
- Merge. Touch a fruit of the same kind and the pair becomes the next fruit up the ladder, with the points to match.
- Chain them. Two merges inside a second count as a chain and pay more than the same two merges apart.
- Swap. When the loaded fruit is the wrong one, the swap button trades it for the fruit on deck.
- Stay under the line. If the lowest fruit hangs past the dotted line for a moment, the round ends.
- Go up. Eleven fruit wait in the ladder. The bottom strip fills in as you make them, and the watermelon ends the set.
Controls
- Mouse: drag to aim, release to shoot.
- Touch: drag anywhere on the tank and release.
- Keyboard: arrow keys turn the barrel, the space bar fires, S swaps the fruit.
Tips that actually change the score
- Keep the pile flat. A wide bottom gives you merges in every column; one tall tower gives you merges in one.
- Aim for the second-tallest pair, not the tallest. Cashing in the top pair is what pushes the line.
- Use the swap early. A saved swap at the top of the ladder is worth more than three merges at the bottom.
- Do not chase the watermelon. Chase the chain — it pays more and keeps the pile lower.
- Look at the ring, not at the fruit. It tells you what you will actually touch.
